There are few full time animal welfare workers or animal sanctuaries/shelters in Greece. There is, however, a dedicated network of volunteers who are willing to help in an animal emergency. With the exception of Carol McBeth, GAWF’s Director in Greece, all those listed here are volunteers with limited time and resources, but who will do their best to assist. All of our contacts speak English. If you do make contact, please respect siesta time (2-6pm).
